Welcome

Main Entry: la·con·ic
Pronunciation: l&-'kä-nik
Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin laconicus Spartan, from Greek lakOnikos; from the Spartan reputation for terseness of speech

: using or involving the use of a minimum of words : concise to the point of seeming rude or mysterious

synonym see CONCISE
- la·con·i·cal·ly /-ni-k(&-)lE/ adverb

This is not to say that we should be against the concise, but that we are against leaving thoughts ambiguous because they lack depth or resolution, and that a truely succinct phrase or idea comes from a more complex one. Blundering through all of our verbose personal writings and ideas will bring us back around to clarity, let's go.
